
The Library of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica officially began its work in 2008. Until 2008 thelibrary functioned as a dislocated part of the Library of the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo. The library of the Faculty of Law currently has approximately 9,000 inventory units of the library fund available to all members of the library. Since its establishment thelibrary has achieved inter-library cooperation with several related libraries and institutions in the country and abroad, which has contributed to enriching the library’s fund through exchange, mainly with professional journals.
Membership is available to students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, as well as its teaching staff. Currently, the library has approximatelly 1000 members – students of the first (I)-, second (II)- and third (III)- cycle studies.
The library is obligated to be supplied with literature which, with its quality and broadness, provides support for the study programs that the institution carries out in all three study cycles, as well as for the entire scientific and research work in legal and related fields.
