As part of the implementation of the Legal Clinic “Advocacy Skills in Criminal Proceedings,” which was held over the past several weeks at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, a simulation of a main hearing in criminal proceedings before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also conducted by Prof. Dr. Nezir Pivić, course instructor for Criminal Procedure Law.

Through the trial simulation, participating students had the opportunity to practically apply their knowledge of criminal procedure law, developing skills related to prosecution advocacy, criminal defense, as well as direct and cross-examination techniques.

Such forms of practical legal education represent an important segment of professional training for law students, enabling them to gain direct insight into the dynamics and practical aspects of criminal proceedings and the work of judicial institutions.

Throughout its implementation, the Legal Clinic “Advocacy Skills in Criminal Proceedings” brought together representatives of the judiciary, legal profession, and academic community, to whom the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica expresses its appreciation for contributing to the strengthening of our students’ practical knowledge and professional skills.
