Yesterday, the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica hosted the ceremonial signing of the Second Addendum to the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica and the judicial institutions of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Central Bosnia Canton.
By signing the Second Addendum, the Municipal Court in Travnik formally joined the Memorandum, further expanding the network of institutional cooperation aimed at enhancing practical legal education, students’ professional training, and the development of joint activities between academia and the judiciary.
The signing ceremony was attended by Goran Dujić, President of the Municipal Court in Travnik; Alma Spahić, President of the Municipal Court in Zenica; Ermin Imamović, Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Prosecutor’s Office; Alma Sejfuli, Secretary of the Municipal Court in Travnik; Enes Maličbegović, Judge of the Cantonal Court in Zenica, who attended on behalf of the Court pursuant to the authorization of its President; as well as Vedran Bijelić and Denis Martini, judges of the Municipal Court in Travnik and alumni of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica.
The delegation of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica consisted of Prof. Dr. Enis Omerović, Dean; Prof. Dr. Aida Mulalić, Vice Dean for Teaching and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Dženana Radončić, Vice Dean for Research; and Prof. Dr. Sedad Dedić.
Following the signing of the Second Addendum, a working meeting was held to discuss opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between the Faculty and judicial institutions, with particular emphasis on expanding students’ practical training, organizing joint educational programmes, and implementing other professional and academic activities of mutual interest.
The Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica remains committed to developing strong partnerships with judicial institutions, reaffirming its dedication to bridging academic legal education and judicial practice in the interest of providing high-quality legal education and contributing to the continued development of the legal profession.
