A delegation of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, consisting of Prof. Dr. Enis Omerović, Dean of the Faculty, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Dženana Radončić, Vice Dean for Research, paid an official visit to the Municipal Court in Kakanj on 9 June 2026, where they held a working meeting with the President of the Court, Eldar Zaimović.

During the meeting, the participants discussed further strengthening institutional cooperation between the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica and the Municipal Court in Kakanj, with particular emphasis on student internships, joint academic and professional activities, and fostering closer cooperation between the academic community and the judiciary.

Following the meeting, Assist. Prof. Dr. Dženana Radončić delivered a training session for the employees of the Municipal Court in Kakanj on gender equality and gender-inclusive language, as part of the activities envisaged under the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Strategy for the Advancement of Gender Equality in the Judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2025–2027).

The primary objective of the training was to promote a professional working environment through the use of gender-inclusive language, fostering mutual respect and equal treatment in collegial and professional relationships, both within the institution and in interactions with parties and users of the Court’s services, regardless of sex or gender.

This event represents a continuation of the successful cooperation between the two institutions, based on the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2024 and the Cooperation Agreement concluded in 2026 between the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica and the judicial institutions of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
