A delegation of the EUFOR Althea mission paid an official visit yesterday to the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, where EUFOR representatives delivered a lecture to students within the International Public Law course.
On that occasion, students had the opportunity to learn more about the mandate, activities, and role of EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as about contemporary security and international legal challenges in the context of preserving peace and stability.
The EUFOR delegation was led by the Head of Info Ops, Colonel Rogier Leenders, and during the visit a meeting was also held with the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, Prof. Enis Omerović, PhD.
The meeting focused on possibilities for further cooperation, the involvement of experts from international missions in the teaching process, as well as the importance of connecting the academic community with international organizations and institutions.
The Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica remains committed to internationalization, the enhancement of practical legal education, and strengthening cooperation with relevant domestic and international partners.
