A Regional Human Rights School was organized by the Council of Europe in Trebinje from July 11 to 14, and this year’s theme was “Gender and Human Rights”. Around 30 law students from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia had the opportunity to learn about the basic concepts of gender and gender identity, discuss key issues related to gender and human rights, and listen to the testimonies of human rights activists. Assistant professor Dženana Radončić participated as tutor on behalf of Faculty of Law Zenica together with two students, Harun Ibraković and Ilhan Osmanović. We thank the Council of Europe for the excellent organization and hope for further cooperation in joint efforts to improve the skills and knowledge of human rights of future lawyers.
