Competition Description and Achievements:

The Zenica Pre-Moot is a preparatory competition for The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.  The Faculty of Law at the University of Zenica joined global law faculties in organizing preparatory competitions for this prestigious global event.

As part of the Zenica Pre-Moot, a training session was held, with teams from Germany, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Bosnia and Herzegovina participating. This preparatory training was realized in collaboration with longstanding partners, including the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), the Arbitri Association, and with the support of the GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation), the Embassy of the United States in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Zenica Pre-Moot is a result of the high-quality work at the Faculty of Law at the University of Zenica and the dedication to events aimed at developing skills needed by future lawyers.

Teams from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Zenica Pre-Moot. The team representing the Faculty of Law at the University of Zenica consisted of competitors ZerinaSpahić, EminaHrnjić, and Nirvana Jašarević.

The partners of the Faculty of Law in organizing these events included: CLDP (the U.S. Government’s Commercial Law Development Program), the Embassy of the United States in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Arbitri Association, GIZ (the German Society for International Cooperation), ELSA Zenica, and Eastern Mining d.o.o. company.
