About the Programme:
The Inter-University Video Lectures Programme, “International Law and Facts Established before the ICTY”, was launched in January 2019 and has since completed six cycles (2020–2025). Its aim is to enhance law students’ understanding of the region’s recent history, focusing on crimes committed in the 1990s, the work of the ICTY and IRMCT, and key principles of international criminal and humanitarian law. The Programme brings together students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia for live lectures delivered by legal experts, including Mechanism Principals, Judges, and staff.
This year, the Programme will include ten lectures held weekly on Thursdays at 10:30 via Zoom. Each session will consist of a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A. Lecture links, topics, and speaker bios will be shared in advance.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive certificates and will also be eligible to take part in complementary activities, including the MIP Internship Programme.
